Lavender Praying for You

Unfortunately I found myself needing a sympathy card this week. I had stamped these lavender blooms a few days ago for another project but decided they would be perfect for this. The flowers are from a retired Altenew set called Build-a-Flower: Lavender. 

The lavender buds are stamped in Lilac Grace, Lavender Lace, Amethyst Allure and Wilted Violet inks. Very pretty! The stems were inked in Green Parakeet, Leafy and Mossy inks. I layered the two lavender stems over a white card base covered with a piece of Lilac Grace card stock die cut with the Bold Borders: Arabesque die. 

The sentiment, from a retired Papertrey Ink set called Keep it Simple: Praying for You, was embossed in gold on a vellum strip. It wraps around the card front and is adhered to the pack with Scor Tape. I hope this card brings a small amount of comfort!
