A while back I made several cards using new goodies from The Greetery. I used Just Mason Around, Budding Beauties Spring and Painterly Stripes Background stamp sets. They were so fun to make!
The sentiment strip was cut from PTI's Skinny Mini Banners die out of black card stock and embossed with gold ink. The Painterly Stripes Background was stamped on a panel cut from Honey Bee Stamps Deckle Edge A2 Honeycuts. I actually stamped it twice, reversing it for the second impression to create the plaid pattern.
For the flowers, I started by die cutting and then did the stamping. The petals were stamped in Pretty in Pink and Melon Mambo inks, while the greenery was stamped with Green Parakeet and Mowed Lawn inks. The flowers are mason jar are adhered with foam tape for some dimension.
For this second version I decided to try a green mason jar, this time using Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores and Tropical Teal inks.
This time I only used the cherry blossom image, tucking two sprigs into the jar.
The sentiment strip is again from the Skinny Mini Banners die, just using a different shape and this time on white card stock.
And this last one is sort of a hybrid of the first two.
This time I tried pairing the green jar with a pink striped background for contrast.
It was so fun to stamp a pile of pretty flowers and jars and have fun arranging "bouquets" from them. Which version is your favorite? I think the card with the blue jar is mine.
Have a great weekend!
